In the fourth quarter of 2020, the virtual pet category saw significant activity on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom. Data from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how five leading apps performed during this period.

My Talking Tom 2 experienced a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 11K in the week of December 21. Weekly active users rose from 57K in late September to over 67K by the year's end, indicating strong user engagement during the holiday season.

My Talking Tom saw downloads fluctuate, with a notable spike to 8K in early November. Active users remained above 110K for most of the quarter, reaching over 128K in the final week of December.

For My Talking Tom Friends, downloads hovered around 5K to 7K per week, with a noticeable jump to nearly 8K in the second week of October. The app maintained a consistent user base, ending the year with approximately 81K weekly active users.

My Talking Angela saw downloads in the range of 3K to 4K weekly, with an uptick to 5K in the final weeks of December. The number of active users showed a slight increase from 44K at the start of the quarter to over 47K by the end.

Lastly, Applaydu family games, which did not generate revenue, had downloads ranging from 2K to 3K after its mid-December release. Its weekly active users were around 4K to 5K, indicating initial interest in the new app.
